Kenyatta Criticized the West in the Past, Now He Wants Their Help

This particular decision by Kenyatta’s Jubilee Coalition was a stark and blunt reminder that underscored the silliness of the post-election narrative:That the era of mega-corruption in Kenya is over because Mr. Kenyatta has hisownmoney. The two decisions are rich with irony for a president and country that collectively wrapped themselves in nationalism and jingoism by transforming Kenyans are finally waking up to the reality that corruption and impunity is continuing to happen right under President Uhuru Kenyatta’snose, make that his office, as evidenced by recent scandals implicating persons working in his office. And rather than report them to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) for investigations, Mr. Kenyatta transferred them from the Office of the President to other positions in his government! Additionally, Mr. Kenyatta’s deputy and fellow crimes-against-humanity suspect Mr. William Ruto is rumored to be one of the “Singhs” who “own” the piece of land that birthed images of Kenya’s Selma and Soweto –, make that his office, as evidenced by recent scandals implicating persons working in his office. Additionally, Mr. Kenyatta’s deputy and fellow crimes-against-humanity suspect Mr. William Ruto is rumored to be one of the “Singhs” who “own” the piece of land that birthed images of Kenya’s Selma and Soweto –state-sponsored brutality against school children! To put it bluntly, the fish rots from the head on down. Corruption in Kenya has always emanated from the very top, beginning with its first president Jomo Kenyatta. It is now so pervasive that the president who romped into office by excoriating the hypocrisy of America (Podesta Group) and Britain (Tony Blair) finds himself turning to them for help! In an ode to Henry John Temple’s prescient take on relationships between nations, hiring Mr. Blair, someone whoseappearanceat The Hague Mr. Kenyatta and his sycophants have repeatedly called for, to “deliver” i.e. mitigate “eating” on mega-projects turns on its head Mr.Kenyatta’s claimthat the reason for Africa’s mediocre and erratic development is the “stiff resistance by those who benefit from a divided Africa.”Africa’s mediocre and erratic development has little to do with the “stiff resistance….” (whatever that even means) and everything to do with the inability of the likes of Mr. Kenyatta to confront the scourge of corruption and impunity even when it is happening right Africa’s mediocre and erratic development has little to do with the “stiff resistance….” (whatever that even means) and everything to do with the inability of the likes of Mr. Kenyatta to confront the scourge of corruption and impunity even when it is happening rightin frontof them. His decision to bring in hired guns from countries he has repeatedly accused of hypocrisy and worse completely rubbishes the claim that “Africans are better placed to solve their own problems.”In the piece titled”Forget foreign intervention, Africans are better placed to solve their own problems,” President Kenyatta writes that former Ghanaian president, Kwame Nkrumah advised Africans to combine “…their numbers and resources to protect themselves from the very positive dangers of returning colonialism in disguised forms.”, Africans are better placed to solve their own problems,” President Kenyatta writes that former Ghanaian president, Kwame Nkrumah advised Africans to combine “…their numbers and resources to protect themselves from the very positive dangers of returning colonialism in disguised forms.”I offer a different take on Mr. Kenyatta’s interpretation of Mr. Nkrumah’s advice.Colonialism has many variants, of which the one perpetrated by the Europeans and Americans is but one. The basic mechanics of “the establishment, exploitation, maintenance, acquisition, and expansion of colony in one territory by a political power from another territory” i.e. In 1967, Jomo Kenyatta’s nemesis Jaramogi Oginga Odinga offered the rather foretelling analysis regarding the mutation of colonialism in his book “Not Yet Uhuru.” Kenya’s first bona fide opposition leader offered the view that “Kenyans (were) still struggling to prevent (fellow) Kenyans in black skin… from ruling as successors to the administrators of the colonial era.”As previously indicated, I have always believed that Mr. Kenyatta pushed the Pan-Africanism message less out of altruistic nationalism and more to save himself from the crimes-against-humanity charges he was facing at the International Criminal Court (ICC). Now that the charges have been As previously indicated, I have always believed that Mr. Kenyatta pushed the Pan-Africanism message less out of altruistic nationalism and more to save himself from the crimes-against-humanity charges he was facing at the ICC.

Those who killed YEBEI Named during his burial – BENSOUDA i

– Over 100 human rights activists are expected to attend the burial of International Criminal Court (ICC) witness, Meshack Yebei, who was abducted and murdered in cold blood three months ago over his links to the Hague-based court and his connection with the case facing Deputy President William Ruto. This was revealed by the Eldoret-based ICC mole, Ken Wafula, who promised to spill the beans on that day over who exactly killed the late Yebei.Speaking yesterday, Wafula said he will name the people who killed Yebei on Saturday during his burial for Kenyans to know because the Government seems reluctant to bring them to justice even after supplying the names to the police.“As human rights defenders, we have done our investigations and come out with names of those who murdered Yebei and we’ll reveal them to Kenyans on Saturday,” said Wafula.Although an invitation has been extended to the Office of the Prosecutor of the ICC now that Yebei was an ICC witness who should have been under the ICC witness protection programme before he met his untimely death, it is not clear if Fatou Bensouda will attend the burial on Saturday.Although an invitation has been extended to the Office of the Prosecutor of the ICC now that Yebei was an ICC witness who should have been under the ICC witness protection programme before he met his untimely death, it is not clear if Fatou Bensouda will attend the burial on Saturday.Yebei will be buried on Saturday at his home in Turbo Uasin Gishu County. Leading Citizen Radio Presenter Faults President Uhuru ICC Move @radiocitizen

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s ICC case debate has been raging on and on especially now that Western Diplomats are discussing its deferment. Well, Tuesday, Citizen Radio’s leading political commentator, Waweru Mburu weighed in on the matter on his show.According to thecontroversialradio host;1. President Kenyatta went to Addis Ababa to discuss his personal issues and not welfare of Kenya as a country.2. It is now evident that President Kenyatta wanted to become president so as to manage his personal problems he has in Hague. Kenyans were not in his agenda.3. Most of African countries are poor because they always have pathetic leaders; the only stable countries are Kenya, Nigeria, Egypt, South Africa and Ghana. That is why Kenya has managed to convince others to back Kenya on ICC issues but soon Kenya will collapse because it is having the worst leadership ever.3. He agrees that President Kenyatta is his President but he always feels ashamed to say so.5. Kenya currently is a laughingstock in the eyes of international community for being led by two suspects.

Dennis Itumbi: Blame Google For The Leakage of Witness 536 Identity.#icc

“Government blogger” and Statehouse insider Dennis Itumbi, yesterday indirectly came to the defence of social media users accused of leaking an ICC witness’ identity, by claiming that the identity of witness 536 was only a Google search away.Itumbi wrote that immediately the witness named one of the accused, Google helped identify her, as apparently, the ruling of a 2009 case (possibly having her on the witness stand) was posted online by lawyers. This was Itumbi’s post.Kenya Social Media on trial at the Hague for apparently revealing the identity of the Witness currently on the stand… 1. The Ruling that was shared online by the lawyers who were handling the 2009 case is a matter of public record and immediately she mentioned one of the accused the rest was done by Google.2. When Ocampo came to Kenya, I personally asked him in a Press Conference, to assure Kenya and witnesses of their safety and his reply, “we have the best system of witness protection in the world and beyond the witnesses we have videos, audios and irrefutable evidence that will prove that the suspects committed the crimes. (That system is being threatened/ affected by Social Media?) enya and witnesses of their safety and his reply, “we have the best system of witness protection in the world and beyond the witnesses we have videos, audios and irrefutable evidence that will prove that the suspects committed the crimes. (That system is being threatened/ affected by Social Media?)3. So far what I have seen on Social media is people suggesting that witness 536 could be so and so, is ICC confirming that the identity of the witness is the same one that has been revealed online?4. There is case that has been dubbed Grand Trial – lets stick to it and avoid any side shows, It would be important to finish the evidence in chief, because most of us are waiting for Cross Examination 5. Kenyan Social Media is very active and has in some rankings been ranked Number 2 after USA – I personally believe we are the top users. As long as the case is on, ICC should expect robust discussions and feedback from Kenyans using this space6. We respect the institution of the court at ICC and we respect the provisions of Free speech and Fair Comment as enshrined in our constitutionI speak not for Kenyan Social Media, I however express the position of many who use this space to express themselves on different issues…We are Kenyans on Social Media ..God Bless Kenyan Social Media Users
