Kenyatta Criticized the West in the Past, Now He Wants Their Help

This particular decision by Kenyatta’s Jubilee Coalition was a stark and blunt reminder that underscored the silliness of the post-election narrative:That the era of mega-corruption in Kenya is over because Mr. Kenyatta has hisownmoney. The two decisions are rich with irony for a president and country that collectively wrapped themselves in nationalism and jingoism by transforming Kenyans are finally waking up to the reality that corruption and impunity is continuing to happen right under President Uhuru Kenyatta’snose, make that his office, as evidenced by recent scandals implicating persons working in his office. And rather than report them to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) for investigations, Mr. Kenyatta transferred them from the Office of the President to other positions in his government! Additionally, Mr. Kenyatta’s deputy and fellow crimes-against-humanity suspect Mr. William Ruto is rumored to be one of the “Singhs” who “own” the piece of land that birthed images of Kenya’s Selma and Soweto –, make that his office, as evidenced by recent scandals implicating persons working in his office. William Ruto is rumored to be one of the “Singhs” who “own” the piece of land that birthed images of Kenya’s Selma and Soweto –state-sponsored brutality against school children! To put it bluntly, the fish rots from the head on down. Corruption in Kenya has always emanated from the very top, beginning with its first president Jomo Kenyatta. It is now so pervasive that the president who romped into office by excoriating the hypocrisy of America (Podesta Group) and Britain (Tony Blair) finds himself turning to them for help! In an ode to Henry John Temple’s prescient take on relationships between nations, hiring Mr. Blair, someone whoseappearanceat The Hague Mr. Kenyatta and his sycophants have repeatedly called for, to “deliver” i.e. mitigate “eating” on mega-projects turns on its head Mr.Kenyatta’s claimthat the reason for Africa’s mediocre and erratic development is the “stiff resistance by those who benefit from a divided Africa.”Africa’s mediocre and erratic development has little to do with the “stiff resistance….” (whatever that even means) and everything to do with the inability of the likes of Mr. Kenyatta to confront the scourge of corruption and impunity even when it is happening right Africa’s mediocre and erratic development has little to do with the “stiff resistance….” (whatever that even means) and everything to do with the inability of the likes of Mr. Kenyatta to confront the scourge of corruption and impunity even when it is happening rightin frontof them. His decision to bring in hired guns from countries he has repeatedly accused of hypocrisy and worse completely rubbishes the claim that “Africans are better placed to solve their own problems.”In the piece titled”Forget foreign intervention, Africans are better placed to solve their own problems,” President Kenyatta writes that former Ghanaian president, Kwame Nkrumah advised Africans to combine “…their numbers and resources to protect themselves from the very positive dangers of returning colonialism in disguised forms.”, Africans are better placed to solve their own problems,” President Kenyatta writes that former Ghanaian president, Kwame Nkrumah advised Africans to combine “…their numbers and resources to protect themselves from the very positive dangers of returning colonialism in disguised forms.”I offer a different take on Mr. Kenyatta’s interpretation of Mr. Nkrumah’s advice.Colonialism has many variants, of which the one perpetrated by the Europeans and Americans is but one. The basic mechanics of “the establishment, exploitation, maintenance, acquisition, and expansion of colony in one territory by a political power from another territory” i.e. In 1967, Jomo Kenyatta’s nemesis Jaramogi Oginga Odinga offered the rather foretelling analysis regarding the mutation of colonialism in his book “Not Yet Uhuru.” Kenya’s first bona fide opposition leader offered the view that “Kenyans (were) still struggling to prevent (fellow) Kenyans in black skin… from ruling as successors to the administrators of the colonial era.”As previously indicated, I have always believed that Mr. Kenyatta pushed the Pan-Africanism message less out of altruistic nationalism and more to save himself from the crimes-against-humanity charges he was facing at the International Criminal Court (ICC). Now that the charges have been As previously indicated, I have always believed that Mr. Kenyatta pushed the Pan-Africanism message less out of altruistic nationalism and more to save himself from the crimes-against-humanity charges he was facing at the ICC.

This is exactly the THEORIES why UHURU cancelled his US trip mid-air

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday cancelled his trip to Los Angeles, USA, mid-air in a dramatic incident that saw his plane literally forced to turn back to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).Uhuru, who was set to fly to Dubai with his Presidential Jet and board a Fly Emirates flight to LA because his jet cannot fly directly to the US due to its small range and low fuel load, did not make it to Dubai. While in Yemen airspace, his plane changed course and returned to Kenya unexpectedly.Since then, many theories have been floated as to why Uhuru’s plane was turned back with the Government saying the President returned due to the ongoing fighting in Yemen which has made it dangerous for planes to cross their airspace as they risked being shot down literally. There were reports that the pilot flew the plane for almost an hour into Yemen airspace in the dark (without radar) and when it was back on, he was warned by the Yemen military to turn back where he came from or be shot down, and he chose the former.Another theory which is being spinned around over Uhuru’s cancellation of the US trip was that Eritrea refused to clear him to use its airspace after being cleared by Ethiopia due to long standing diplomatic tiff between Eritrea, Ethiopia and Kenya and thus the reason for him to return to base. But are all these theories true about why exactly Uhuru cancelled his LA trip, where he was to attend one of the world biggest business events, and returned to Kenya prematurely?Reliable sources have intimated that Uhuru’s move to cancel the LA trip had nothing to do with the fighting in Yemen or diplomatic standoff with Eritrea and Ethiopia, but had everything to do with the abrupt change of programming at Milken Institute, where he was allegedly going to be among those to address various innovation forums.According to sources, Uhuru was removed from the program at the last minute for reasons not yet known and replaced by Rwandan President Paul Kagame. The Head of State only came to know about the change of program while on air prompting him to cancel his trip. After all, he was not going to be just a spectator listening to Kagame.Kagame was the only African President who was listed to speak at the Milken Institute Corporate and Investor Roundtable, where he will give a talk on behalf of Kenyan and Rwandan delegations, and only invited guests will be allowed. In a nutshell, Kenya was not among the countries listed to participate in the Milken Institute Event where corporate and Government officials meet to discuss serious business. The only ‘Kenyan’ invited to speak at the forum is Safaricom CEO, Bob Collymore, in his capacity as a corporate leader and not as a Kenyan representative. So now you know why His Excellency the President returned to Kenya like a thief on Wednesday night just hours after setting off for LA in USA.Here is the program of the LA event that excluded Uhuru and included Kagame;-

Those who killed YEBEI Named during his burial – BENSOUDA i

– Over 100 human rights activists are expected to attend the burial of International Criminal Court (ICC) witness, Meshack Yebei, who was abducted and murdered in cold blood three months ago over his links to the Hague-based court and his connection with the case facing Deputy President William Ruto. This was revealed by the Eldoret-based ICC mole, Ken Wafula, who promised to spill the beans on that day over who exactly killed the late Yebei.Speaking yesterday, Wafula said he will name the people who killed Yebei on Saturday during his burial for Kenyans to know because the Government seems reluctant to bring them to justice even after supplying the names to the police.“As human rights defenders, we have done our investigations and come out with names of those who murdered Yebei and we’ll reveal them to Kenyans on Saturday,” said Wafula.Although an invitation has been extended to the Office of the Prosecutor of the ICC now that Yebei was an ICC witness who should have been under the ICC witness protection programme before he met his untimely death, it is not clear if Fatou Bensouda will attend the burial on Saturday.Although an invitation has been extended to the Office of the Prosecutor of the ICC now that Yebei was an ICC witness who should have been under the ICC witness protection programme before he met his untimely death, it is not clear if Fatou Bensouda will attend the burial on Saturday.Yebei will be buried on Saturday at his home in Turbo Uasin Gishu County. The funeral is set to attract thousands of mourners because of the status he has achieved posthumously.

UHURU must divorce his “WIFE” if he wants Kenyans to re-elect him in 2017… If not, then..

City businessman, Jacob Juma, has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to cut ties with his Deputy, William Ruto, if he wants to be re-elected in 2017’s Presidential Election.Sharing his sentiments through social media, Juma, who is also the Managing Director of Cortec Kenya said Uhuru should “divorce” Ruto and move forward because Ruto and his URP crew are the ones who are tainting his administration by engaging in corruption and graft activities. “Fellow Kenyans, take it from me, president Uhuru is a gentleman and a great leader. Uhuru’s disease is his ‘wife’, URP. He needs to divorce URP,” Juma said.He also said if President Uhuru Kenyatta is serious about corruption he should prosecute mongrels such as Energy Cabinet Secretary, Davis Chirchir, Labour CS, Kazungu Kambi, Agriculture CS, Felix Kosgey, and Lands CS, Charity Ngilu.Juma concluded by saying that if Uhuru partnered with former Vice President, Kalonzo Musyoka, corruption will be a thing of the past because Kalonzo fears corruption. Mutahi Ngunyi Urges President Uhuru To Attend ICC Hearings, But Skip Judgement Day

Renowned political scientist, Mutahi Ngunyi, has added his voice on the ongoing debate as to whether President Uhuru should attend his trial at the Hague. The president has issued signals that he may not step into that ICC building, as it is demeaning of his stature as a head of state.Foreign Affairs Secretary, Amina Mohammed, seen as the spokesperson of the president in these matters, last week stated that there is no record of any president stepping into a court room, perhaps an indication that Kenyatta will not be the first.Foreign Affairs Secretary, Amina Mohammed, seen as the spokesperson of the president in these matters, last week stated that there is no record of any president stepping into a court room, perhaps an indication that Kenyatta will not be the first. The president also mobilised the support of the African Union, during an extraordinary heads of state summit. On his Twitter handle, Mutahi on Monday advised the president to attend the hearing. He says failure to that will give the ICC an opportunity to issue an arrest warrant, something he feels has been their plan all along. However, the political analyst says that Uhuru should not present himself on the day of judgement. This is probably to protect himself from the consequences of a possible guilty verdict. If the judges were to pronounce a guilty verdict with President Uhuru in the courtroom, that would certainly be the end of his freedom and presidency…. unless his security somehow manages to sneak him out. Here were the tweets from Mutahi Ngunyi.ICC original game-plan was this: Uhuru/Ruto refuse to go. Warrants are issued. ICC wins morally.Bensuda goes to Bermuda for holiday. Finito— Mutahi Ngunyi (@MutahiNgunyi)October 14, 2013My 11th hour thought:Uhuru should go. He should damn the AU and its cowardice:

Leading Citizen Radio Presenter Faults President Uhuru ICC Move @radiocitizen

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s ICC case debate has been raging on and on especially now that Western Diplomats are discussing its deferment. Well, Tuesday, Citizen Radio’s leading political commentator, Waweru Mburu weighed in on the matter on his show.According to thecontroversialradio host;1. President Kenyatta went to Addis Ababa to discuss his personal issues and not welfare of Kenya as a country.2. It is now evident that President Kenyatta wanted to become president so as to manage his personal problems he has in Hague. Kenyans were not in his agenda.3. Most of African countries are poor because they always have pathetic leaders; the only stable countries are Kenya, Nigeria, Egypt, South Africa and Ghana. That is why Kenya has managed to convince others to back Kenya on ICC issues but soon Kenya will collapse because it is having the worst leadership ever.3. He agrees that President Kenyatta is his President but he always feels ashamed to say so.5. Kenya currently is a laughingstock in the eyes of international community for being led by two suspects.
